HQZN / STATION DIGITAL TWINS

Station digital twins

A shared view of space, equipment and operational state.

We connect CAD assets, equipment information and telemetry to OpenUSD scenes through asset conversion, state mapping and visualization tools.

Development status

A prototype driven by telemetry from real charging sites has been validated. Engineering lifecycle twins remain in pilot research; continuous operation and multi-site deployment require separate validation.

DIGITAL TWINS / HISTORICAL PROTOTYPE

Equipment state, reflected in a scene.

Read-only charging telemetry was mapped to indicators in an OpenUSD scene, validating data reception, attribute updates and rendering response.

Input
A replay of recorded equipment state, followed by incoming real telemetry.
Output
Historical records confirm that read-only telemetry and attribute mapping updated scene indicators. Replay and subsequent telemetry were validated separately.

Validation scopeThe prototype uses an illustrative scene and state indicators, not a reconstruction of the source station's layout. This historical summary does not establish a current live service, full bidirectional control or continuous production deployment.

PILOT SCOPE

Discuss a pilot

Inputs to align

Engineering asset formats, equipment identifiers, telemetry fields and states to visualize.

Potential project deliverables

  • Asset conversion and scene components
  • Telemetry-to-scene attribute mapping
  • State-update validation captures and records

Scope is agreed after reviewing data, equipment and acceptance criteria. Research validation, pilots and production delivery are defined separately.
